Our restaurant’s origins date back to 1966, when the founder, Iwao Aoki, quit his job, trained in Osaka, and opened the restaurant as "Aoki Shokudo" in Minori-cho, Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture.
After that, Matsumoto Town, Kaihotsu Town, and in 1991, it moved to its current location in Mikuni-cho and became “Sobadokoro Aoki”, where it remains today.
The soba making techniques of the previous owner and the tempura techniques of the previous proprietress have been passed down and will never change.
We are proud to offer it as the "Aoki’s taste"!

The soba, the soup, the sauce for the tempura bowl…all are Aoki’s secret flavors that are kept from the public.
